Blizzard Prepares for 2006
The Blizzard Soccer Club will be expanding its home games schedule to youth clubs for fundraising opportunities.  Also the Blizzard has plans to play in the southern region of Colorado.

2006 Season Begins in May

Three Local Players Make it to MLS

James Riley, Marcus Sagastume and Patrick McGinnis, are now players in the MLS. James (New England Revolution) and Marcus (Colorado Rapids) played with the Blizzard in 2004. Patrick (Kansas City Wizzards) trained with the Blizzard in '04 and was the leading goal scorer in Division III NCAA, breaking the all time Colorado College scoring record for one season.



Des Moines Menace defeats the El Paso Patriots to win the PDL 2005 Championship!


The MLS Rapids came to Colorado Springs to play the Blizzard. The game was watched by over 1800 fans, the most ever to see a soccer game in Colorado Springs.  The Blizzard tied the Rapids in the 67th minute 1-1, but ended up letting 3 more goals in the last 10 minutes of play.
